Today I have 2 things I'd like to share one is a program for use in conjunction with Ableton and the other is an album that I'm really excited about.
Vitamin L
First of all, I found this nifty little program called 'Vitamin L'.
It's a 'workflow enhancement tool' which means it lets you do some of your most used actions in the click of a button. Not only that but it lets you remap your keyboard as you want as well. Could be handy for DJs or Producers alike.
Here's website containing the download link:

I've heard of people using it to map their midi controller to as well, but I'm not at that stage just yet so can't really explain it!
Prefuse 73: The Only She Chapters
One of my favourite artists of the moment has a new album out! It sounds pretty weird from the sample (from the warp website). Less of the oldschool hip hop vibe and more of the trippy dream sequence type stuff. Can't wait to hear it properly now! Here's the sample:

ReplyDeleteVitamin L looks quite useful. I have to go to work, but I'll definitely check it out later and let you know about use with MIDI. And I'm really looking forward to the new Prefuse album. Been into him since high school, the new stuff sounds dope.
